If you're reading this page, it's probably because you received a message about being banned or restricted, and you want to know more.

If the reason your message mentioned couldn't apply to you, there are several possible reasons. All of these reasons involve using an IP or range previously used by someone troublesome.
  • You might be using cellular phone data to connect. (Use a wired / WiFi network instead, or switch towers if that's possible for you.)
  • You might be using a proxy, VPN, or TOR. (Turn those off, or switch nodes.)
  • You might be using a browser that includes similar functions, such as Opera. (Disable those functions or use another browser app.)
  • Your service provider might have given you a dynamic IP address. (Ask them to change it, or use one of the methods above.)

If the restricted IP address has a slash / then a number at the end, it applies to a range of addresses, in place due to persistent abuse from that range and/or ease of changing addresses within that range, and it is very unlikely we will remove it if we had to resort to that.

If you have other concerns or simply want to appeal, you may contact staff@paheal.net. (Be sure to copy the whole message that was displayed to you, including IP address and reason, and paste it into your email. We may ignore you entirely if you don't include the ban message and a reason for your appeal.)

You may also email if you need a password reset. Or if you have artwork to upload, and an account is necessary to bypass an "anon ghost" restriction, because none of the above suggestions helped.
